Who I Am |
I began my education at East Central University in Ada, OK. I took a break from my education to get married to my wife in 1997. After some struggle, I returned to school at Oklahoma State University. I graduated from there in 2009 with a bachelors degree in education with a focus in science. I was hired by Tulsa Union out of college to teach biology and remained there for 2 years. In 2011 I felt a need to move on in my career and Putnam City North called. I am excited to be continuing my service to the Putnam City School District at Putnam City High School. Go Pirates!

Besides Teaching |
I come from Nowata, a small town in northeast Oklahoma. I played multiple sports when I was in high school. Among those I played football, ran track, and was on the weightlifting team. I also played the trombone in marching and concert band where I won the John Philip Sousa award for excellence and leadership in music. While at East Central University I was also selected to the Kappa Kappa Psi chapter for the same qualities. I have also served in other leadership positions. To sum it all up, I feel a life calling to be a public servant. In 2021-2022 I was selected as the Putnam City High School Teacher of the Year.
